BOOK RELEASE: “Mysteries Such As These” (a book by Heather Joy)

Hi friends! I hope this finds you all doing well!

I have been keeping busy, busy, busy these past few months! Overwhelmingly busy, actually! I’m not complaining though — it’s been good for me.

And what’s the title of this post all about anyway?! oh THAT! I’m so very excited about this!

As most of you know (at least, those of you who have followed this blog for awhile), I’ve been wanting to write a book for a long time now. In fact, I’ve had a burden about it for awhile. I wanted to write something that would help and encourage people. I wanted to write something that was real…

Well, the day has finally come! I released my first “ebook” yesterday afternoon!

After many, many hours of compiling and editing, re-writing and deleting, crying and frustration – it’s done! Alot of the material in the book you may have read a couple years back right here on this blog (at least in part).

It’s a 100+ page biography that unravels the details of how God used multiple sicknesses over a period of 2-3 years to reveal Himself to me in deeper and greater ways and draw me closer to Him! It’s a journey of trust, of hope, of faith — and a story of how God can use even the darkest of situations to bring honor and glory to Him!

It’s written partly as if I was telling a story, partly as if I was writing in my personal journal. The book contains over 40 chapters and many, many passages of Scripture. I honestly believe that my book will be an encouragement to whoever reads it.

If you’d be willing to read my book and do a book review on your blog, shoot me an email at sunnshhiine[at]gmail[dot]com OR leave me a comment below. I will be giving away 3 copies of the book for that purpose — let me know if you’d like to be one of those 3!

  1. Congratulations! This IS exciting! I’m looking forward to reading your book, though it will be sometime next week before I can because my daughter is having surgery for a tumor similar to the ones you had (please pray for her). Hope this will be just the start of many more good things from you!

  2. I wish you well with your new book!

  3. Ooooo! Pick me! I would love to review and talk about your book/journey on my little blog…. if there is still an opening available… 🙂
